Memories...

So, I was trying to work on homework today, but it turned into a trip down memory lane. That's what happens when I get on my computer. I began to go through all my picture albums and adding a few more to my collection. I really need to get some prints made sooner or later. I would like to make up some albums just in case something happens to my computer. Plus, albums are a lot more fun.

I can't wait until spring comes and all the colors start to come back to the world. That's the best time to go out and take pictures. I still have a few places I need to go explore for pictures.

Well, hopefully it'll get warm soon, but until then I'll have to find something to occupy my time.

Why?

I've been trying to decide what to talk about for the past few days. I haven't really accomplished anything that I feel is worthy of talking about.
So, I thought I'd use this to explain a little more deeply as to why I started this blog. I love to write and I am pursuing a career in Journalism (or that's the plan as of now). I've been told multiple times to start a blog and work on my writing skills and develop my own voice. Last week, I rented the movie Julie and Julia and that was it. I decided then to start a blog. Actually, that night is when I started this. What's the worse that could happen?
Now, I just have to focus. I have to decide what I'm passionate about and go for it. Julie decided to go through Julia Child's cookbook and make everything. That's what her blog was about. Where do I want to take mine? I guess we will just have to wait and see.

My First Post...

So, this is my first blog post ever. Hopefully, it will be the first of many.

I don't know where this blog is going to take me, but I am looking forward to the adventure. I've been told to find something I'm passionate about and write about it. Well, that's really easier said than done. I am passionate about many things, but finding the time to concentrate on any one of them is difficult at times. I hope that this will give me an opportunity and maybe a push to concentrate on what I really care about.

We shall see what happens.
