Perseverance...

This has definitely been a long week. Mid-terms plus problems at work don't work well together. But, I did realize that perseverance pays off.

Tonight I had a meeting with one of the heads of the department I work. They decided to implement changes half-way through the semester and a lot of employees and managers did not feel that was right, including myself. To make a long story short, we worked together and we got them to revoke their decision until next year. Instead of implementing the changes now they are going to wait until next year. So, we are keeping everything like we had it until then. It's not the exact we wanted, but I am okay with the decision. Plus, this gives us time to maybe convince them to not make the changes and make this a permanent thing.

Who knows, but for now I can enjoy my break.

Writing

I really enjoy writing. It took a meeting with my professor today to see that. I think I'm overly cautious sometimes, but with every day I am getting stronger in my writing. I am getting stronger as a person too. Life is full of learning experiences and opportunities to grow. I am still working to achieve my goals, yet this is a push in the right direction.
Someday, I'll get to where I want to go or at least closer than I am now.
But until then...
